St.John. One of two stained glass windows removed from Rearsby Convent, Leicestershire. They formed part of a gift from the Mother Superior of Rearsby, in recognition of the work of one of the order, Sister Anna Shields, a member of the convent and a much loved and valued member of our school.
The Resurrected Christ. Positioned above the altar, it is the focal point of the school chapel. It is a constant reminder to us of Christ’s message ‘..For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. (Matthew 18:20)
The Annunciation. Second of the two stained glass windows. Dedicated to the memory of the Third Bishop of Nottingham, Bishop Edward Gilpin Bagshaw (1874- 1901). This forms the only public memorial to one of the Great Catholic reformers of the 19th Century.
